Our first chicken egg!
Our hens have started laying eggs. They haven’t quite figured out that they are supposed to lay in the nest boxes yet so we’ve lost quite a few eggs but we have also been able to use a couple of them. Our first egg that was not smashed was quite a jumbo sized egg. In fact, there were three yolks inside!

Double yolks are common at the start, but I’ve never seen a triple yolk before.
