The friends we met and camped with last week are part of an Amish-Mennonite church in Oswego.

That is where I would choose to go to church. But seeing how they are about 40 miles away from us, it just is not possible without a motor vehicle.

We’re looking into purchasing another motor vehicle for the primary reason of being able to attend church there.

But what will we do until then?

During the camping trip we were reminded that the Charity Christian Fellowship (another fellowship of Christians with similar views as the Amish/Mennonite) has a tape ministry that you can subscribe to. So we decided that we’d subscribe to that service so that we can listen to messages.

We were very happy to find that the Charity tape ministry has recently also been putting their taped messages online for download. That will save us a little bit of money.

But what is even more exciting is that they have a service where you can use a computer program called Skype to listen in on their services live every Sunday.

I am looking forward to this very much.
